Celebrating Cytiva’s Marvellous Fundraising Milestone

As we enter the seventh year of our partnership with Cytiva, we are delighted to spotlight their incredible £100,000 fundraising achievement.

Since our collaboration began in 2020, associates at Cytiva’s Amersham Place office have dedicated themselves to fundraising for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, bringing creativity and community spirit to every event. From hosting regular bake sales to festive carolling outside London Underground stations, their continual support has been truly inspiring. Reflecting on this milestone, Tom Rees, Cytiva General Counsel and Charitable Donations Committee Member, shared: “Cytiva has a 6-year history of raising funds for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and is proud that its cumulative donations recently passed the £100,000 mark. The Charity’s mission to provide specialist nurses and support for children living with complex lifelong conditions resonates strongly with our Team and compliments Cytiva’s own vision of a world in which life-changing therapeutics transforms human health.” Cytiva’s fundraising goes beyond the office, with team members taking on their own challenges to raise money for the charity; this has included scaling Ben Nevis, Royal Parks Half Marathon, Silverstone 10k, and Brighton Marathon. These incredible efforts have all contributed to Cytiva’s remarkable fundraising total. Looking ahead to another year of partnership, Tom highlights the team’s continued enthusiasm: “Whether its raising funds through enjoying cakes or taking part in a half marathon (I’ve done both), we’re always motivated by the work that the Charity does to help children with complex conditions lead a more marvellous life.” The funds raised by Cytiva’s Amersham Place team will help provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children and their families across the UK. We are hugely grateful to the Cytiva team for their ongoing support and dedication, and we look forward to many marvellous years of collaboration ahead.
