Trusts Fundraising Officer


Full Time
Salary: £24,000
Location: Hybrid working, home and office based - Amersham, Buckinghamshire

We are looking for a tenacious, methodical and organised person who can deliver sustainable growth from trusts. We want someone who shares our core values of being child focussed, sparky, empowering, resourceful and kind.

The role's main task is to maximise income from trusts by the creation of high-quality applications and reports to funders, and by providing excellent account management and cross-team collaboration.

Corporate Fundraising Officer


Full Time
Salary: Circa £25,000
Location: Hybrid working, home and office based - Amersham, Buckinghamshire

We are looking for an excellent relationship manager to join our small and ambitious fundraising team. The Corporate Fundraising Officer will be integral to the fundraising team, with a particular emphasis in supporting the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver on all existing corporate partner activity, attract and retain new corporate partners, and meet our ambitious plans for growth.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder requirements. We are looking for someone who can engage and excite others with our cause, and has a passion for developing new partnerships.

Programmes Support Officer


Full Time
Salary: £25,000
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (some working from home)

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children living with complex, lifelong conditions.

We are seeking a PROGRAMMES SUPPORT OFFICER to join our Programmes Team in delivering their workplan to the children and families we support in partnership with our Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses.

We are looking for someone who shares our core values of being child focused, compassionate, resourceful, and sparky; someone who is passionate about supporting children, young people and their families.

Applicants should have administration and CRM management experience and be able to work from our office in Amersham, Bucks.

Communications and Marketing Executive


Full Time
Salary: Circa £26,000
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire and hybrid working at home

Join our growing team as we take the Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity brand to new levels. You will be a self starter who is has experience of social media planning and activation, with a good eye for design and detail. This role supports the team with communications deign and delivery as well have supporting on brand and major campaigns.

This is a new role and we are very excited to hear from you if you are looking to join a dynamic and growing team. HR Administration Officer


Part Time (equivalent to 1 day/week flexible to suit)
£26,000 pro-rata (equivalent to £100/day)
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (some working from home)

We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources function. The charity has currently 10 full-time staff members and 1 part-time and currently advertising some new and vacant roles. The charity receives professional support from external advisors for all matters regarding employment law and health and safety regulations. Your main responsibility will be to ensure HR processes are followed accurately and to an agreed timetable.

Your administrative duties will include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records, appraisals, training etc) and updating internal databases and software applications. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures, familiar with online HR systems and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Fundraising Executive - Events and Groups


Full Time, or Part Time (equivalent 4 days)
Salary: Circa £27,000
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire and hybrid working at home

We are looking for an engaging, passionate and tenacious person who can deliver strong, cost effective and sustainable income growth from targeted, national groups through driving new business. We want someone who shares our core values of being child focussed, sparky, empowering, resourceful and kind and who can live by the ethos of who Roald Dahl was and what he is delivering through his legacy. We also need someone who is flexible and can react positively to a post-Coronavirus fundraising world.

The role’s main task is to secure new fundraisers and income from groups and events – mainly challenge events, schools, families who are connected to our cause through Roald Dahl Nurses, and other groups and events as directed. This is a new business focussed role with some supporter care.

Volunteer

Volunteers help our organisation to run effectively and efficiently. We currently have a number of volunteers who work in virtual office based roles supporting with data, mailings, research and events. We have voluntary roles in fundraising, programmes, communications and finance. If you are interested in joining Team Marvellous and using your time to help seriously ill children, then please do get in touch.

Please write to enquiries@roalddahlcharity.org stating who you are, why you’d like to volunteer and the areas you’d like to volunteer in. We will then follow up with you and work out the best role and timing to suit both of us. Thank you.
