Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity partners with Rally

We are delighted to announce that Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity will be the first UK charity partner of Rally, creators of the Run with Rally app.

Rally makes race day more meaningful by sharing voice notes from friends and family with runners as they take on their challenge. Recorded before the race, these personalised messages are played at key moments along the route, giving runners an emotional boost when they need it most. The team at Rally capture the spirit of the app: "Every mile has a story. We're honoured to help runners carry the voices of the people they're running for, turning every step into a powerful reminder of the lives they're helping change."  We are excited to bring Rally to Team Marvellous for the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October and the TCS London Marathon weekend in 2027. Through this partnership, our runners will have the opportunity to experience pioneering technology that makes race days feel even more special. For the charity, this partnership reflects our dedication to the extraordinary supporters who take on challenge events to raise vital funds for seriously ill children. Camilla, Community and Challenge Events Fundraising Executive, explains: "By partnering with Rally, our charity can take stewardship to the next level. We know that our wonderful runners often say they think of the ‘why’ when they are hitting the wall in a race. Rally is helping bring this ‘why’ to life by allowing us to send charity messages to our runners, spurring them on to cross the finish line.” Offering a completely personalised and unique experience, Rally will share messages that encourage, motivate and inspire, while reminding our runners of the vital difference their support makes. As Camilla adds: “At the start, they can hear a good luck message from our team; halfway through, words of encouragement from Roald Dahl Nurses; and, when they are close to the finish and perhaps struggling, a thank you from the children and families nurses’ support.” This exciting partnership will launch with Team Marvellous this October, helping our runners feel supported every step of the way as they raise vital funds for specialist Roald Dahl Nurses, who provide life-changing support for seriously ill children and their families.
