Marvin's Marvellous Picnic

This summer, Marvin our Marvellous Mascot, is inviting the nation to pack their sandwiches, grab a blanket, and get together to host a delumptious picnic to raise funds for Roald Dahl Nurses.

Launching on 30 June, National Children’s Nurses Day, Marvin’s Marvellous Picnic is a fun way for friends, families, colleagues, and communities across the UK to come together, enjoy the sunshine, and help establish more marvellous nurses.

To help make every picnic phizz-whizzing, Marvin has put together a fundraising pack filled with everything you need to host the perfect picnic – from games and invitations, to a handy picnic check-list, and plenty of fantastic fundraising ideas to inspire your guests to get involved. Whether it’s a garden get-together, a picnic in the park or even an office lunch, it couldn’t be easier to take part.

Plus, raise over £250 and you will automatically be put into a prize draw to receive an exclusive signed revolting recipes book and other marvellous Roald Dahl goodies!*

PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

This prize draw is organised by Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. One prize is available. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, or under 18 with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Fundraisers with a JustGiving page who raise over £250 through a Marvin’s Marvellous Picnic event between 10/06/2026 and 01/09/2026 will be entered into the prize draw. One entry per eligible fundraiser. The winner will be selected at random and notified by email on or before 18/09/2026. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, an alternative winner may be selected. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
