Carolyn Bradley (Chair)

Carolyn joined the Board as Chair in March 2025. She brings extensive governance and chair experience, having held non-executive roles in both commercial and not for profit organisations, including SSP plc, Legal &General, B&M Retail and CRUK, where she was Deputy Chair. She also serves on the Advisory board of the Cambridge Judge Business School and is a Mentor for The Mentoring Foundation. Carolyn has deep commercial and marketing experience from her long executive career with Tesco where she was UK Marketing Director.

Rachelle is a senior solicitor at Macmillan Cancer Support. She is a lawyer with over 25 years' experience working across multiple businesses with a focus on IT, data, procurement and grant funding. She is also a magistrate.

Jodi Johnson
Jodi Johnson
Jodi is Lead nurse for children and young people at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Jodi was previously a Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse and is now Chair of the Programmes Sub-Committee.

Kath Evans
Kath Evans
Kath is a registered general and children’s nurse, her career has included clinical, educational, managerial, service improvement, commissioning and professional leadership roles. She is currently Director of Children’s Nursing at Barts Health, whilst also working with North East London Integrated Care System as Clinical Lead for the 0-25 Transformation Programme, and an Academic fellow at City University and a CYP Participation champion at NHS England (London).

Lizzie Emilion

Lizzie is currently Executive Director of Fundraising at Teach First having previously been Director of fundraising and Head of Major gifts. Lizzie has worked in high value fundraising for over 15 years at a variety of charities including Great Ormond Street Children's Charity, NSPCC and Moorfields Eye Charity. She is a mentor for the Tony Elischer Foundation and has a Masters in Philanthropy from the University of Kent.

Dr Sanjiv Sharma
Dr Sanjiv Sharma
Sanjiv is a Consultant in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, and Chief Medical Officer at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). During Sanjiv’s tenure as Chief Medical Officer, he has been involved in a number of whole scale organisational transformation projects, the Covid-19 pandemic, helping to shape delivery of children’s cancer services
and continues to navigate the place of a specialist provider through an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Suzannah Goodchild

Suzannah is a dedicated parent and full-time foster parent to Max, a nine-year-old with severe disabilities and complex needs. With a background in children’s disabilities, Suzannah has been an integral part of the Children’s Nursing Team at the University of Hertfordshire for 14 years, contributing as a visiting lecturer and expert by experience.

Mike Marsh
Mike Marsh
Mike is a semi-retired Senior Advisor and Strategic Programme Director at Schroders also holding number of Non-Executive Director roles for Schroder Funds in Ireland. Mike has 40 years' experience in financial services including over 25 years' as an executive to COO level across multiple geographies. His specialist areas include: Business Oversight, Strategy, Outsourcing and Transformational change.

Grace Andrews
Grace Andrews
Grace is a senior investment professional at Schroders, responsible for investment strategy for the Cazenove Capital division. She has over 10 years' experience working with institutional clients, specialising in asset allocation, fund selection and sustainability.

Helen Thomson

Helen is a wife and mother to two marvellous children, Bella and Peter. Alongside juggling family life with a child with profound and multiple learning disabilities, Helen has enjoyed over 20 years' of successfully building high-performance teams in agencies, start-ups, and large corporate businesses. Helen ventured into the Tech space, working at Meta and now Google, leading a team advising the largest technology businesses in the world on how to build their brands.

Ben Grist

Ben is a chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor at Dixon Wilson. He has over 15 years experience of advising families, their trusts and businesses on their tax needs. Ben is Chair of the Finance and HR Subcommittee.

Claire is CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi. With a career in advertising spanning over twenty years Claire has worked on some of the nation’s biggest brands including BT, McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Bacardi, and the NHS. Claire is a wife to Paul and mum to two young girls who are currently very into Matilda!

Kimberley Mitchell
Kimberley Mitchell
Kimberley is a specialist in high-value fundraising and relationship strategy, with over 15 years’ experience across major donors, corporate partnerships, trusts, and events. She has led award-winning fundraising teams and built partnerships with leading brands such as adidas, The Premier League, and LEGO. Kimberley has held senior roles at organisations including Stonewall, ZSL, and the Institute of Imagination, and brings strong expertise in ethical fundraising, EDI, and building lasting relationships to drive income growth.
