The environment and sustainability

In the past year we have been instigating the first stages of a digital strategy to move away from paper based ways of working to digital based. We now use Office 365 tools reducing printing costs, postage costs, and paper usage.

We now recycle all of our recyclable waste material and ensure that staff and volunteers understand the benefits of doing so. Half of our staff either lift share, use public transport, walk or cycle to work and again we ensure that they understand the benefits of being economical and environmentally friendly with travel.

We constantly review our energy provider use green tariffs where we can.

Complaints

Of course we hope that you do not want to complain about our work with seriously ill children, but every complaint is taken very seriously.

Our complaints procedure gives you an overview of what will happen if you need to complain to us and we have provided a template with which you can raise any concerns. This covers the details that we will need to act on the matter as swiftly as possible.

Please do contact us and we will respond within 48 hours. 01494 917695, enquiries@roalddahlcharity.org
