How we are supported

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity is a voluntary funded organisation. We do not receive government funding, but the Roald Dahl Story Company generously donate to us every year to cover our core operating costs. This means that 100% of your donations goes towards the vital work that we do with seriously ill children and their families.

Thank you to our biggest supporter – The Roald Dahl Story Company Ltd. They manage the copyrights and trademarks of author Roald Dahl and work with publishers, film-makers, theatre producers, merchandisers and other licensees worldwide.

We are so very grateful for their support, and we could not provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children without their help.

Whilst we are extremely grateful to The Roald Dahl Story Company for their kind support in covering our core costs, we still need to raise money to fund our charitable activity. We do this in a number of ways through working with companies, trusts, foundations and individuals who give money, time and take part in all sorts of events on our behalf. Thank you to everyone who supports us and makes our work possible, creating more marvellous lives for seriously ill children.
